This is advice I just gave someone, so I wanted to share it with everyone...
Do not put yourself down. Build yourself up with positive thoughts. It might sound a little corny, but thinking positive thoughts is very helpful and healthy for your mental and emotional health. Just start off by saying 3 good things about yourself everyday, and build your self-esteem and self-confidence up each day by adding to that list of good things about yourself. Also try your best to think a few positive thoughts each day too. Positivity goes a very long way.

Perfection is a figment of our imagination, which changes with the each person we surround ourselves with. Take some time to get to know yourself as well as you know the ones you love and figure out what YOUR perfect version of yourself is, and then map out a plan on how to get there. Don't live your life trying to achieve goals to impress others. True happiness is impressing yourself.
